Romond "Ramone" Keith Robinson is an inspirational rap artist that uses his lyrical influences to impact young audiences. His steady flow of rap style transcends poetic idioms of this generation. Born and raised in the windy city, Chicago, Illinois, Ramone became engulfed by the pressures and influences of the "street life."

The negative vibes from the street kept calling. Eventually, he was pulled into its grasp. He began to experience the plagues that contaminate the human soul by those who participate in the dark, hard core avenues of the "street life." Just as the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32, Ramone came to his senses. He began to realize that his life was empty and void and that the things he sought after was all vanity. He prayed to God for help and to know the truth.

However, in 2004 he lapsed back into a state of unhappiness and destitution in spirit. He knew that he needed to get restoration and he could not do this alone. In his pursuit of finding a church, he met Pastor Darrell L. Parker, Sr. of New Birth Christian Center, Inc. and Founder/CEO of Godson Records in Savannah, Georgia. There he recorded his first demo project, "The Father's Business." Ramone introduced his first CD release concert in 2005 and performed with a live band, which is a rarity in the rap industry. Now almost a year later, he's back in the studio putting together his first full CD project due to drop in October 2006. In the words of Ramone, "Get Ready!"

An avid believer in promoting influential music that empowers the soul, Ramone messages through rap evokes a positive message to the listener. He believes that this inspirational art form will get the attention of the youth and convey a message of hope and answers for today's societal ills. You could hear these messages in some of his tracks such as "His Business", "Question Is", "Like This", and "Get Lifted". In his lyrics, Ramone delivers his experiences with God and tell his life story.
